The size of skip you need depends on the type and volume of waste you're disposing of.

  • Mini Skips (2–3 yd³) – Perfect for small home clearances or garden waste.

  • 4–6 yd³ Skips – Ideal for bathroom/kitchen renovations.

  • 8–12 yd³ Skips – Suitable for larger refurbishments and bulky waste.

  • Roll-on Roll-off Skips – Best for large commercial projects or construction waste.

Our standard hire period is up to 14 days, but we can arrange shorter or longer durations to suit your needs. If your project timeline changes, just let us know—we're happy to accommodate.

There are certain items that cannot be placed in a skip due to legal or environmental regulations. These include:

  • Hazardous waste (e.g., asbestos, batteries, solvents)

  • Electrical items (e.g., fridges, TVs, microwaves)

  • Medical or biological waste

  • Paints, oils, or fuel

  • Gas cylinders

  • Tyres or plasterboard (unless pre-approved)

If you’re placing your skip on a public road, pavement, or verge, you’ll need a council permit. Don’t worry—we can arrange this on your behalf to make the process easy. If the skip is on private property, no permit is required.
